Solar For Schools
Solar For Schools
What if we inspired every child in Iowa? What if we provided a tangible, real-world example of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) subjects? What if we added new habitats for monarchs and prairie pollinator species? What a difference we could make!
Here at Red Lion Renewables, we’re passionate about inspiring tomorrow’s problem-solvers to accomplish anything they put their minds to. And it all starts with solar energy for schools.
We aim to integrate solar energy in every school district in the state of Iowa by 2025.

How Do We Achieve This Goal?
We achieve this goal by working together. Join our family of donors, investors, and advocates to start making a difference today.
Donate – As a member of our donor pool, you’ll help lower the final costs and energy bills of solar customers. We leverage your donation to provide the maximum benefit to the customer and make the biggest possible difference. Please note that most donations are tax-deductible.
Invest – Solar projects are eligible for depreciation expenses, tax credits, and operational revenue. Be sure to check whether you’ll be able to gain a greater return as an investor compared to a donor. We recommend consulting your tax advisor to determine the extent to which you’ll benefit depending on your specific circumstances.
Spread the Word – More donors, investors, and clean energy supporters translate to a greater impact on our planet! And the installation of more solar arrays leads to even more people joining the solar movement. By simply being involved in the industry, you’re helping create a solar revolution much larger than any one individual’s efforts. Advocating for solar energy will inspire children across our great state. So, spread the word.
