Our Story
Terry Dvorak created Red Lion Renewables when he recognized the need for small solar projects to be financed here in Iowa. Having grown up on a farm in central Iowa, Terry learned the values of maximizing efficiency, minimizing waste, and taking care of our land and environment. This lifestyle inspired him to help fellow Iowans make a greater impact.
Today, under Terry’s leadership, Red Lion Renewables is known for connecting large and small investors with solar projects across the state and the country. In today’s current economic atmosphere, solar is feasible for more and more people. We’ve helped reduce energy costs for schools, churches, businesses, utilities, and more—always in a financially responsible manner.

Our professionals are responsible for more than 100MW of solar projects, including everything from a 2kW demonstration project at the Iowa State Fair, to 3MW of solar carport canopies in New Jersey, to 18MW single-axis trackers in Arizona.
